No tea/coffee making facilities in the room was a bit disappointing . Never seemed to be anyone working behind the bar either! A good location especially if you arrive by train .All main sites in walking distance or if not by nearby Metro station .

Couldn't have a better location for a city centre break. In the town centre in a beautiful, quiet, pedestrianised narrow street. Shops (The Colon) cafes, bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. Ask for a front facing room - if you want a balcony this incurs an extra charge. Food in the hotel expensive but with so many restaurants, cafes and take away shops, there's no need to eat in the hotel. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had two very disappointing meals in the hotel restaurant. The translation from Spanish to English on the menu was partly to blame. Having chosen Fish Pie on the English menu and expecting a hot dish with either potato or pastry, a tasteless pile of icy cold vegetable salad arrived with a couple of prawns! The Spanish was described as Timbale of sea food. On another occasion my husband ordered soup and a bowl of tasteless brown liquid arrived with a couple of tomatoes inside. The breakfasts however were excellent and there was a wonderful choice.

Top Tip

Valencia is a very attractive city with many beautiful buildings. Public transport is cheap and efficient. It is worth ordering the 'menu del dia' rather than a la carte for lunches as it is much better value. The ultra modern architectural complex of arts and sciences is a must. A real space age experience!

Do use the Bus Turistico. Excellent value and the only way to see all the sights.

Very nice hotel very well placed in the centre of the city. the rooms were a good size and there was a very good breakfast buffet.

Top Tip

Be sure to plan ahead as many sights and restaurants are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
